Lunch and Learn
Last month (Tuesday October 20, 2020), our Supply Chain Specialist, Heather Prior, was the guest speaker at a Lunch & Learn on “Interview Tips and Tricks” hosted by triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. A wonderful group of engaged students, from various triOS campuses stretching from Toronto to London, attended the virtual presentation. With many of them studying Supply Chain & Logistics, all were noticeably excited to receive some insight into the real world of supply chain management.
Having studied Supply Chain and Operations Management herself, as well as focusing her career since on the discipline, Heather was able to offer a deep understanding of the supply chain world and all its proceedings by using practical examples, as well as drawing from her own experiences and journey to her current position.
Providing a background of our company, presenting useful tips and tricks regarding virtual interviewing, and then finishing off with a Q&A lead to excellent discussion during this event.
About this Partnership
We are happy to partner with triOS College and to do our part in helping prepare the next generation of workers. We believe this lunch and learn is the start of a lasting partnership that will allow the triOS community to gain hands-on experience that could translate into increased employment opportunities. We are looking forward to continuing to help educate and develop the next generation of Supply Chain Specialists!
